Contemporary Erotic Romance

I had the pleasure of reading this book as a beta reader, as both the authors are dear friends. However, as I’ve mentioned before, don’t let that fact sway you into believing this review is anything but accurate and true. I’ve been fortunate enough to surround myself with writers of an unbelievable caliber. Together, we’ve all grown and built one another up into what I truly believe is an unstoppable force. Luca’s Lessons, by Deana Birch and Amelia Foster, is just one example of the awesome power of a strong writing group. 💕

Second Chances Contemporary Romance

Okay, my lovelies, unless you’ve been living under a rock you already know how much I love and adore Amelia Foster. As an author, as a person, and as a friend. I feel like one of the luckiest humans alive to call Ms. Foster my bestie, but don’t think I’m writing this review with bias coloring my words. I first read for her long before we developed the friendship we have today, and part of what made me fall in love was her gorgeous knack for the written word. And Meant to be Different is a shining example of her talent.

I’ve been champing at the bit to get my hands on this week’s read for months. Every time I see one of Mr. Andrews covers, I’m constantly itching to pick up my Kindle and read. The Battle of Crystal and Water is Clyde Andrews’ first full-length novel, and also the first of his works I’ve had the pleasure of reading. You guys… OMGsh. This book. THIS BOOK. I’m not sure I’m gonna be able to find the right words to describe this experience, but I’m going to try my darnedest. From the Ashes by C.M. Valencourt is one of those books that sends your emotions on a roller coaster ride and demands your undivided attention. From page one. If you think you can plan to just read one chapter… Too bad. It ain’t gonna let you go that easy.

Gay (MM) Romance

I’m shook, y’all. For real. This week’s read left me feeling some kinda way. Call it a Coincidence by Nathaniel Scott is one of those reads where I found myself at a complete loss for words as I turned off my Kindle. I also went immediately to the author’s Twitter page and found myself heaving a huge sigh of relief when I saw him mentioning a sequel in the works. Because, yes, I need more. Much, much more.

LGBTQ+ New Adult Contemporary Romance

Okay, my lovelies. I’mma ‘bout to get real with y’all. This week’s book left me feeling some feelings. Crazy, all over the board feelings. It was intense. Like, had me screaming at my eReader and threatening to throw it to its doom more than once kinda intense. But also the kind where I basically became non-functional at work and had to molest my spouse as soon as I got home. And the kind where I got all weepy and slobbery and… Okay, yeah, maybe I should start by introducing the book, yeah? 🤣 Playing Around by Suzanne Clay is yet another hit-it-outta-the-park release by NineStar Press. (It isn’t just their covers I adore.)
